The automobile industry has been guilty of being slow to move on tech trends, but at this year's CES it became clear that they are at least trying to play catch up now. Cars are going to be getting a lot smarter in the near future. Some of the most interesting news came from chip manufacturer Qualcomm's booth, where they were demoing a few really cool new features. The first of which, cars are finally getting 4G LTE. Up until now, the few cars that did have connectivity at all were limited to the slow and aging 3G format. This year car manufacturers are speeding up their offerings.
