The Directors Guild has announced their nominees for their annual awards and Martin Scorsese received a nod for his film "The Wolf of Wall Street." Joining him is Steve McQueen for "12 Years a Slave," David O. Russell for "American Hustle," Alfonso Cuaron for "Gravity," and Paul Greengrass for "Captain Phillips." The winner of the DGA feature film category will be revealed at a ceremony on January 25 in Los Angeles, six weeks ahead of the Academy Awards. Jane Campion has been selected to head the jury for the 67th Cannes film festival. Campion won an Oscar for best screenplay for her 1993 film "The Piano" and is the only woman ever to win the top Cannes prize, the Palme d'Or. The festival will run May 14 - 25. Katy Perry will perform live at the Grammys. The singer has been selected to take part in the awards show. She will join other performers including Lorde, Metallica, and Pharrell Williams.
