Olympic hurdler, Sarah Claxton, one of our great hopes for the London 2012 Olympic games, recalls her initial involvement in sport and how she managed to overcome both personal and health difficulties to excel in her career as a world-class athlete. Dame Ellen McArthur is internationally renowned for breaking the world record for the fastest solo circumnavigation of the globe in 2005. In 2010 Ellen retired from professional sailing to launch the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, a charity to inspire people to re-think, re-design and build a positive future.
