U.S. President Barack Obama and Chinese President Xi Jinping were all smiles in sunny Palm Springs, California on Friday. Obama is hosting his Chinese counterpart at what's being billed as a casual, 'get-to-know-you' sort of summit, decidedly removed from the formalities of Washington DC. But despite the relaxed venue, several potentially thorny issues are up for discussion, including cybersecurity. In closed door meetings both leaders have expressed the need for the U.S. and China to work together on tackling the issue. Earlier, in front of the media, both leaders stressed their desire for cooperation. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA SAYING: "Inevitably, there are areas of tension between our two countries, but what I've learned over the last four years is both the Chinese people and the American people want a strong, cooperative relationship."
