House Proposes Borrowing Money To Create Jobs:Here in Washington there are three bills in the House that are asking for $1.3 billion total with the promise of creating many new jobs. The bipartisan efforts are facing push back from legislators on both sides of the aisle.

Powell Boys' Grandparents Push For CPS Changes:It's been two weeks since Josh Powell allegedly killed himself and his two children in a house fire near Graham, Washington. A new task force announced Thursday that they will investigate the deaths. Meanwhile, the grandparents of the two Powell boys are pushing for changes in Child Protective Services. The Wurlitzer At Seattle's Paramount:One of the most talked about movies this past year is a silent film called "The Artist." The film is considered a strong contender for Best Picture at Sunday's Academy Awards. Here in Seattle you can still catch the occasional silent classic at the Paramount Theatre. The Paramount still has the original Wurlitzer from the silent days, over 80 years old.
