PWC ranks Number 48 overall and Number 11 among large companies on this year's list, the 15th annual installment. The rating is a significant increase from the company's Number 73 score last year. The ranking notes PWC's increased transparency in communications around compensation and its Career Milestone Awards that recognize employees' sustained efforts and contributions. A major Nike supplier has agreed to pay $1 million dollars to 4500 Indonesian workers for 590000 hours of unpaid overtime. The settlement covers a period of two years, during which workers at the plant did not receive full wages for time worked. Last year, Indonesian textile, clothing, and footwear trade unions, major suppliers, and sportswear brands including Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and Puma signed the Indonesian Protocol to address poverty wages. Nike operates 30 plants in Indonesia. The deal means an award to each worker of $220 US dollars.
