Construction of units at Greens on Gardiner, a new, sustainable housing development in Regina Saskatchewan, has doubled its initial projections, due to buyer demand. The housing is designed to be sustainable, from the materials used in construction to the management of natural resources. The Greens management also includes affordability in its definition of sustainable housing: the units are priced for first-time buyers, empty nesters, and recent immigrants, to create a community that is in itself a model of social sustainability. Rx Job Scout has announced a partnership with the Green Air Project to offset the company's carbon footprint. The partnership will result in the planting of a tree for every 50 Pharmacist Job Posts purchased. Rx Job Scout is a job board designed for licensed pharmacists and employers which integrates social media accounts and features a robust search engine. The Green Air Project works with businesses to reduce their environmental impact in a cost-effective way.
